Groups and Roles Combined Ops Website
Last updated: May 16, 2025
Even if many features of the website can be used by single users too, everything is designed so you can get the best benefits as part of a group. The first thing to do, after the account registration, is to create a group. Roles inside the group are the followings.
The Founder
The group should be created by its commander, holder or coordinator. The user that creates the group will be automatically set as Founder member. Since the founder status can't be removed, the Founder member can never be removed from the group. The Founder can also accept or refuse requests to join his group and appoint new Admins, AOC members and Editors by choosing them from among the group members.
Group Admins
Admins have the same permissions as the founder member, but admins cannot remove the founder status.
AOC Admins
AOC Admins are intended to be the AOC members who are in charge of setting special options like password and permissions settings for other group members to access Mission Planner and Combined Ops Airspace. AOC Admins always have access to both coalitions and features on AOC Tools, Mission Planner and Combined Ops Airspace, regardless operation registration and other settings.
AOC Members
AOC Members are intended to be the group members who are in charge of mission planning, editing and documentation preparation for the group. AOC Members have full access to all the AOC Tools features.
Editors
Editors are appointed by founder and admins. Their permissions are limited to the Combined Ops main website features. Editors can post and edit group operations on the website and accept or refuse user requests to participate in their operations.
