Drawings and points DCS World Mission Editing

How drawings are imported in Combined Ops
DCS World drawings are imported on Combined Ops as they are on DCS World mission editor. The peculiarity is in how factions drawings are shown on AOC Tools and Mission Planner.
On AOC Tools drawings are divided into Author, Common and faction drawings, based on what faction you join when you open the mission.
On Mission Planner DCS World drawings are shown differently. Basically, Common and faction drawings are grouped in a single layer, called Generic. In this way, Mission Planner users don’t know what drawings are shown to both factions, while maintaining the convenience for group mission designers of creating drawings using the Common type to show them to all users.
How to create custom drawings groups
It is possible to create custom drawings groups to be imported from DCS World to Combined Ops prepending the code “[LYR:drawings_group_name]” to the drawing name (see the image below).
The code [LYR:Polygons] will create on Combined Ops maps a new drawings group called Polygons that contains all the drawings with this code in the name. Once imported, the code will be hidden in the drawing name.
Initial Points and Targets
DCS World Initial Point objects are shown on AOC Tools and Mission Planner maps as red dots.
If Initial Point objects are used to mark mission/campaign targets, they can also be shown on Combined Ops maps as white triangles prepending the code “[TGT]” or “[SHIPTGT]” to the object name.
