How to start Combined Ops Airspace
Last updated: May 15, 2025
Combined Ops Airspace is a web-based software dedicated to ATC and Airspace Control on DCS World, developed as a client for DCS Olympus.
It requires no installation if you already use DCS Olympus. Otherwise, you simply need to install DCS Olympus on your DCS server so that Combined Ops Airspace can connect to your DCS server. Installation details for DCS Olympus are not provided here, as they are subject to its development. You can therefore find the necessary information on the official DCS Olympus GitHub page.
For Combined Ops, however, all you need to do is create an account and a group for your virtual squadron (if you haven't done so already), and add your server on the dedicated panel in your User Control Panel at this link. The requested data (DCS Olympus server IP, port, and passwords) are necessary for Combined Ops Airspace to connect to your DCS server and receive real-time data.
At this point, your Combined Ops Airspace will already be accessible, but further options are available thanks to the integration with AOC Tools. Indeed, in the same User Control Panel for your servers, you can set basic permissions for access to your Combined Ops Airspace and choose an AOC Tools Project it will be linked to. These settings can be modified whenever you wish without needing to add new servers. These features will be discussed in next sections.
