Permissions system Combined Ops Airspace
Last updated: May 16, 2025
The first fundamental setting for access permissions for your Combined Ops Airspace is available in your User Control Panel > Combined Ops Airspace Servers. Here you can choose from 3 options:
- No Restrictions (Public): Your server will be visible and accessible to all logged-in users on Combined Ops.
- Host Group Members Only: Your server will be visible and accessible to all members of your group, who will be able to access both the Blue and Red coalitions.
- Operation and AOC Tools Project Related: To use these additional options, you will first need to have created a Operation on the main site and a project on AOC Tools, then select it in your server's dedicated setting Ref. AOC Tools Project. Once this is done, on the AOC Tools > Project Properties page, new options will be available to regulate access to your Combined Ops Airspace.
If you have created an AOC Tools project and selected the third option, the following options will be available in AOC Tools > Project Properties. These options are only visible and editable by Group Admins and AOC Admins:
- Host Group Members + Operation Registered Users, No Coalition Restrictions: Members of your group will always have access to both coalitions, while other users must register for the mission on the Operations page of the main site. There will be no coalition or role restrictions.
- Operation Registered Users Only, Coalition Restricted: Anyone wishing to access your Combined Ops Airspace must register for the operation on the Operations page of the main site. Users will only have access to the coalition chosen and/or approved during operation registration, but there will be no role restrictions.
- Operation Registered Users Only, Coalition and Role Restricted (ATC/AWAC Only): This is the most restrictive option. Only users registered for the mission can access your Combined Ops Airspace, only for the chosen and/or approved coalition, and only if they have been accepted with an ATC or AWAC role.
