The GTGTLOC line is used in DCS AOC Tools for ground-attack missions with a known ground target. It provides target information in the generated Air Tasking Order (ATO) and is created from target data configured in the DCS World Mission Editor.
To generate a GTGTLOC line, configure the target waypoint with the Bombing waypoint action. This method is used for ground-attack missions where the target is explicitly defined in the DCS World mission file.
GTGTLOC can also be generated for other mission types with a known target. For example, some SEAD missions can use the Attack Group or Attack Unit waypoint action to identify the target.
The waypoint action parameters provide important information used by DCS AOC Tools when generating the target data:
- Waypoint Name: Used as the target identifier in the generated ATO.
- Stop Conditions Duration: Used to calculate the Not Later Than (NLT) time.
- Not Earlier Than (NET): Can be configured in seconds directly in DCS AOC Tools.
When the target waypoint is correctly configured, DCS AOC Tools can extract the target information from the DCS World mission file and generate a GTGTLOC line such as:
GTGTLOC/P/TOT:090303ZDEC/-/NLT:090308ZDEC/-/TGT1/-/-/DMPI:4440639N4003212E/-/600FT/-/-/-//
